I am an Oakland, CA based doula & birth educator dedicated to holding space for laboring people and their support systems that centers the inherent power and wisdom of the body and each birthing person. I believe in evidence-based & trauma-informed care, choice and informed consent, and I care deeply about supporting clients in the ways that make physical, emotional and spiritual sense for them. I offer labor, birth & postpartum support through a series of prenatal and postpartum visits, on-call availability and labor & postpartum support, and I work with you to find the birthing & postpartum paths that feels best for you. I came to this work after years in nonprofit arts, environmental and social change spaces. I believe that the way we enter this world and carry life into this world directly informs our capacity for change and progress later in life, and I am committed to supporting the transformative power of reproductive experiences.
